Business Feng Shui

Business Feng Shui

Increase Your Concentration, Productivity, Prosperity and Abundance

Would you like your business to be more prosperous - making profit and no cashflow problem?

Would you like a more harmonious work environment that supports you and the people you work with?

How to increase your concentration and productivity in work?

What to do when your staffs do not get along?

Business & office complex

Avoid irregular shaped property

Avoid irregular shaped property

First of all, get a regular shaped business property with regular shaped office rooms. Besides increasing work productivity, you can also apply compass formula more effectively in a regular shaped business property.

Note that if the missing sector does not constitute more than one-third of the section, then it is not considered as a missing sector. When there is a missing sector, check what represents the missing sector trigram. Each irregular shape sector has to be analysed separately.

Have open center

Do not have staircase in the center

Do not have store room in the center

Basically, we should not trap the heaven’s heart, which is the center of the office. Any “room” including the toilet, storeroom, staircase, meeting room, office room or any body of water should not be at the center of the office. An open center will let qi flow freely.

Lastly
Refer to all the business feng shui articles for comprehensive explanation and description. I explained thoroughly about what makes a good main entrance or a main door, and what makes a good office room feng shui setting. Position the office furniture to encourage a smooth flow of qi or energy. Remember do not overlook your reception area, office lobby and desk area as well. I also included the new business premise hunting tips for those who want to seek for a new business location or to move into new business location.

With good business and marketing strategies, your business efficiency and effectiveness could be further  enhanced with the use of the invisible Qi of Feng Shui to improve, retain and sustain your profitability and cashflow. Read more at 1FengShui.com

House Hunting - Investing on a Good Feng Shui House

House Hunting with Feng Shui - Part 4

Get an internal floor plan drawn by the architect if possible, because it has exact dimensions, and it is drawn to scale. If you cannot get that, then draw your own floor plan. However, try to get accurate proportions and dimensions.

Check the compass direction, and then work out the orientation of the house. The main door should be located at one of the fortunate location such as sheng chi, tien yi, nien yen or fu wei. Make sure the main door, pathway, bedroom door, bedroom, study room and dining room are located at the fortunate locations. However, beware of the annual afflictions. Toilet, bathroom, wash area, kitchen, stove, and storeroom should occupy harmful sections.

Watch out for common design afflictions. Knowing these basic feng shui principles will save you thousands of dollars and frustration in correcting your house.

Common Design Afflictions
  • Do not have the kitchen & dining room located near the main door, especially in an apartment. Do not have the living room located at the back of the house.

  • Do not have the main door built under the toilet or bathroom of the upper floor in a double storey house.

From many years of my feng shui practices, there are many common feng shui afflicted designed houses. Some houses are designed in this way due to cost-saving, while others are just designed by architects, who are not aware of feng shui principles.

House Hunting with Feng Shui - Part 3

If you already have a good external environment such as the auspicious mountains and water at the auspicious location, then your internal environment is used for fine-tuning qi in the environment, and to tap the auspicious qi for maximum benefit.
After examining the larger scale environment of 3km radius, then examine the area within 500 meters radius of the house when evaluating the immediate environment.

Other Exterior Feng Shui Tips when doing house hunting:
Roads
  • Avoid having the main door facing the T-junction or Y-junction
  • Avoid having the main door facing the straight in-coming road that has high traffic
  • Avoid having the main door facing the Knife Formation or edges of flyover
  • Avoid having the house near to the highway
  • Avoid having the house in dead end or Cul-de-sac
  • A roundabout is similar to the Four Water converging into One Formation, and it is desirable in front of your house.
Hills
  • Avoid having the house on hill tops
  • If your house is located at the bottom of the hill, and when the slope comes towards it gently, then it is auspicious

House hunting with Feng Shui - Part 2

Drive around within a 3km radius of the house to observe the environmental forms that may affect the quality of qi in the area. While you are driving within the 3km radius of the property, consider the shape of land, type of land, mountain, landscape feng shui, and water form. I have described in part 1 about examining the lands and mountains in the external surrounding while hunting for your dream house.

In this article, you will learn about examining the water formations in the external surrounding. If the location of the water form in relation to the house is correctly oriented according to feng shui principle, money will never be a problem.

Water formation
In feng shui, having a correctly located natural water form is the most powerful feature that can enhance income and wealth.

Types of Exterior Natural Water Form:
 a)   Rivers and streams
 b)   Seas and oceans
 c)   Plain lakes and ponds
 d)   Lakes or ponds with waterfall

What Shall I Observe?
Look for water formations that denote a good circulation of qi.  Avoid areas that have negative water formations. The water formations stated below could be found in the exterior natural water forms.
 Auspicious Water Formations
  • Jade Belt Water
  • Nine Curve Water
  • Four Water converging into One Formation
  • Cascading Water
Inauspicious Water Formations
  • Bow Formation
  • Cutting Feet Water
  • Piercing Shoulder Water
·   Note that the natural water is superior to artificially created water form. However, it is difficult to locate the exterior natural water form in modern cities and towns. When there is an absence of exterior natural water form, you can create exterior artificial water form to activate wealth luck.
